The breeding of the various species at Aquatics is split into those fish requiring soft acidic water such as angelfish, discus, danios, the apistogramma varieties etc. & those livebearers which are accustomed to water of a higher pH & degree of hardness such as the platy, swordtail & the guppy. Each section has its own water treatment plant with specialised breeders to monitor water quality, feeding & all production parameters.
