Cultured Clownfish Facility

Aquatics International also produces tank bred clowns & we are proud to be the first commercial farm in the country to produce these species. About 150 breeding pairs are housed in a separate breeding room where the broodstock are fed our own various propriety feeds to provide variety. 7 days after spawning the eggs which are about to hatch are moved to a separate hatchery where rotifer consists of the initial diet together with a 50 micron high protein dry feed. After progression through artemia as a feed source we switch the fry after metamorphosis to our own blended meaty feed regime ensuring a good growth rate & colouration.

Currently we are producing the common clown, & both pink, skunk & maroon clowns. This clown fish breeding facility is situated at the Aquatics location and is open for visits by genuine buyers.
